Kosciusko community leaders turned out last night for the unveiling of the official artwork for the 40th annual Natchez Trace Festival, which is set for April 25, 2009. The unveiling included the official poster and three T-shirt designs as well. The official poster was struck from an original water color painting by local artist Andi Frank, called “Almost Home”. Andi said that her intent was to capture the spirit of the 5K run, so she had the family of David and Christy Hudson pose for the painting. Three T-shirts were unveiled, including the “Gasoline Alley” shirt for the antique car show and bike ralley, the “Run shirt” and the official festival T-shirt. The unveiling and reception were held at the Firestone Studios inside Jordan Furniture Company, located on North Natchez Street in Kosciusko.
