Privilege Licenses
The City of Kosciusko, Attala County, and the State of Mississippi require annual privilege licenses for most categories of business activity. Licenses are issued by the City of Kosciusko Clerk when firms are located inside the city and by the Attala County tax collector when the firms are located elsewhere in the county.

Building Permits
A building permit is required by the City of Kosciusko for construction, remodeling and demolition on property located within the city limits. At present, no permit is required by Attala County inside or outside the city.
