The last Friday in June the Historic Court Square comes alive. Three events take place to make Downtown Kosciusko "The Place to Be".
Sidewalk Sale
 The merchants open early for the convenience of shoppers. This is the time for everyone to come find a bargain. All merchandise on the sidewalks is under $15.00 with special sales in every store. For a unique shopping experience come for the 8:00 am kick-off.
Breezy 101 & Kicks 98 Barbeque Battle
 Grills come alive early am on the Historic Court Square. Set-up begins and the competition gets heated. Come for lunch and get a taste of the best barbeque around. The barbequers want to tantalize your taste buds with ribs, pulled pork and brisket. The smell alone will make your mouth water. Winners are announced prior to the Evening Concert. Participants in the 4th Annual BBQ Battle presented by Breezy 101 and Kicks 98, Franks Chevrolet and Leonards Departmetn Store are:

Evening Concert
 The day culminates with a free concert. This year "The Chill" from Vicksburg, MS will perform. The Chill Sound is an exciting blend of horns, guitars, percussion and vocal harmony, with a unique combination of fun personalities ready to create a party. When the Mid South wants a party they will be talking about for weeks, they call The Chill. |
