What would springtime in
Central Mississippi be without the famed Natchez Trace Festival? The 42nd Annual Natchez Trace Festival, set among the beauty of Historic Downtown Kosciusko, held the last Saturday in April. Join us with dozens of artisans and craftsmen from across the southeastern
United States including many
Mississippi artisans. A day of shopping, food and entertainment will be an expression of the festival’s theme, “Where the Fun Begins!”
The Festival will begin with the traditional 10k/5k run, 5k walk, and One Mile Fun Run through the streets of Kosciusko. These events, sanctioned and operated by the Mississippi Track Club, will start at 8:00am and take participants along a route by many historic homes in the city as well as sections of the Natchez Trace.
The day will be highlighted by the Demonstrating Artisans Gallery, Craftsmen vendors, “Gasoline Alley” (classic automobile exhibit), Bike Alley (classic, custom, sport, trike, and cruiser bikes) and “Moomba” (children’s entertainment area).
Friday night will be the featured family night entertainment at
M&F Bank
Park in Downtown Kosciusko. Other events that are associated with the festival are: Dessert Theater, Kosciusko Jr. High; Miss Natchez Trace Festival Pageant, Mary Ricks Cultural Center.
